The village of Mumbunca is located about 35 kilometers from Mateiros. This village is composed of a majority of slave descendants who have highlighted the craftsmanship of the capim dourado (capim gold). This native grass of the region is harvested in August-September and is worked to make any type of object (vases, tray, pendants, ...).
