The Macaquinho place (name of the river) possesses three main cachoeiras are: Canyon da Pedra Furada, cachoeira da Caverna and cachoeira dos Dois Saltos, place where the Macaquinho meets the river Fundão in its fall, penetrating in a canyon of 40m height.
The valley of the Macaquinho is located 50km from the village Alto Paraíso, and its way passes by the point of view of the Valley of Paraná river.
